32 bit USB port burnt? USB LED no longer showing green when connected to PC after 2.50 upgrade

Hi, I just upgraded to 2.50b and now when I coonect via USB I cannot see the proper UART port in the GUI and the green LED that is near the USB port is no longer lit. Have I burnt the USB port or is there a way to check if the USB port is functioning properly?

To reset the controller press menu button 10 times.
