Using 6 cells battery to power the 32 bit board?

The manual says 8-25V, 3-5 cells.
However, if each cell is like 4.2V, 6 cells are 25.2 V, will this okay? Anybody tried it?

We strongly don't recommend you to overvoltage the controller.
It void of warranty.
Otherwise, you may use step-down DC/DC converters.
