Something so simple it seems to be impossible....

    I have the 32 bit gimbal controller and a few brushless motors, I also have the aerial pixel joystick. I have spent more than 10 hours trying to figure out how to have the joystick turn a motor (or anything turn a motor controllably for that matter)..... So far it seems impossible. My end goal before I construct the gimbal would be to get a motor to ROTATE, at this point it seems impossible.

    I can get it to do unpredictable spastic movements by moving the IMU, but after calibration the software still says the accelerometer is not calibrated... I don't understand why it is so difficult to get a motor to turn when I ask it to do so...

    Any help please? And I like I said all I want is to get the motor to turn when I want it to...

    I am not sure what you are trying to do. The gimbal must be first set to operate correctly, then connecting a joystick and make gimbal respond to it is not difficult at all, but you need to set the gimbal up correctly first. see the users manual.
