Warm Motors

    Hello,

    I am new to the 3 axis gimbal software and hardware. I purchased a cametv 7800. I have a Canon 7d and tamaron 17-50 mounted and balance. I accidently left it on for about 15-20 mins and noticed that the motors were warm to the touch. Does this indicate that the motors are working to hard to keep camera balanced or was it just on to long?

    Motor temperature depends of the Power setting and voltage. If motors get hot during normal use, you should lower Power settings. How the gimbal is used does not affect, unless the gimbal is with encoders, but your is probably not.

    Note, PID needs to be tuned when Power is adjusted.
