PITCH axis rotating 40 degrees up after I click "Write"

    Hi everyone.
    Every time I hit WRITE, the pitch axis rotates upwards for around 40 degrees. Also while I power on the gimbal, the pitch axis turns 40 deg. upwards from horizontal position. How to fix that?

    I'm still working on my first gimbal but this was always a calibration issue for me.
    Is your pitch dial flat in software when camera is pitched 40° ? If so turn off the motors and then hit calibrate acc with everything flat and level (frame and camera). This will zero all the levels properly.
    It seems you also need to keep everything level when you power on the alexmos board as it calibrates on startup.

    There is something wrong on your basic setup, initial angle set to 40 at RC tab, or joystick not correctly setup/calibrated.
