For those, who have no Windows or having trouble, like I was, with setting up Com port under Parallels, here is a tip and links. For FTDI drivers use http://mac.softpedia.com/progDownload/FTDI-USB-Serial-Driver-Download-114809.html and get FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_2_18.dmg D2XX1.2.2.dmg from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm did not work for me at all. After installing it there will be: USBSERR-9YH9VB3 in v. 1.3 GUI or /dec/tty.usbserial-A9YH9VB3 in v. 2.0 GUI Second important thing is to be able to flash new firmware. I found Arduino Hex uploader for MAC, which worked perfect. The name is AVR Tools from http://www.w7ay.net/site/Applications/AVR Tools/ You also need to install the Cross Pack toolchain in order to make AVR Tools working.
You cannot just run the .JAR under OSX, then connect to it with the mini usb port ( that is on the flyduino build boards, not sure if its on others too) feels like a pain to set this all up
