Tried and failed - How to upgrade to 2.43b5?

    Hi,

    I have a DYS 3 axis gimbal on my phantom. When I bought it I upgraded to SimpleBGC 2.40 Gui and firmware.
    Now I'd like to upgrade to 2.43b5, but I tried it once and it failed. I then managed to revert back to 2.40, but I'd really like to try this again.

    Can anyone run me through the process, to see if I've missed something? Do I upgrade through the 2.40 GUI or through the 2.43b5 GUI?

    The manual has a very good detailed instruction on how to upgrade.

    The first step is to download the new version.
    Upgrade the firmware using your current GUI ie. the one you have been using.
    Then you need to close that GUI and run the new GUI that comes with the download of the new firmware.
    Note my post earlier about needing to have the IMU'(s) plugged in.

    Hi Zeb, thanks for your help.

    But does my electronics support the new firmware? Or can I only upgrade until 2.40?

    Also, I connected a button to mine, and I press it for 5 seconds for calibration (it is disabled on startup), the camera moves, and at first it looks OK, but then it slowly starts rolling, and stops moments later, endind up a few degrees out of level. Any ideas?
