Newbie question - point straight ahead on startup (handheld)
  • Hi,
    running 32 bit board with 2.42b7.
    Im trying to work out how to make the gimbal just point straight ahead as I am using as a handheld.
    Is it the direction gimbal is pointing when powering on? Ive noticed the init settings under rc tab but nothing seems to happen when I write an angle. Follow mode is enabled on pict & roll.

    All I want to do at this stage is have gimbal pointing straight out & level as I walk along with no jumps as I step.

  • There is the offset calibration on the Follow tab, but I have not got it working well.

    I always start in no follow modes activated and after start up change to follow mode. Works good. Also having a joystick helps.
